The fight for Islamic values in politics must go on: Fazl
The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has emphasized that it is not an option to give up on bringing Islamic principles into politics.
He underlined during a ceremony in Multan that religious institutions protect human intelligence, which is a gift from God.
Despite obstacles, he maintained that promoting Islamic principles in politics was still essential, even though it was the hardest thing to do with Muslim leaders.
Despite only having eight members in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized JUI’s unwavering commitment, pointing out that they had persisted and achieved great strides.
He reaffirmed the significance of carrying on with the fight under the direction of their elders, leaving the result up to God.
