In Sargodha on Thursday, a dumper and school van collided, killing a teacher and four kids and injuring at least nine more.
A teacher and four kids were killed instantly, while nine more were injured after a carelessly driven dumper struck a school vehicle in the 133 Janubi neighborhood on the outskirts of Sargodha.
The deceased and injured were taken to a local hospital by police and emergency personnel who arrived at the scene after being notified. Despite cutting the van’s body, the injured student was saved.
Following the collision, the dumper’s driver was able to flee the area, according to police sources.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the governor of Punjab, has also conveyed his profound sadness and grief over the deaths of four kids and a teacher in a terrible accident in Sragodha.
The Punjab Governor sent his condolences and sympathies to the families of the deceased, praying that Allah Almighty would provide them a place in Paradise and give them the strength and patience to endure this loss.
