Nawaz requests that Shehbaz concentrate on the national interest in PTI negotiations.

On Sunday, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met in Lahore for a crucial meeting.

The political climate of the nation and other important issues, such as talks with the PTI, were covered by the two leaders during their meeting at Jati Umra.

According to Nawaz Sharif, everyone must cooperate for the good of the nation, emphasizing the need of unity. During discussions, he told the prime minister to put the interests of the country first.

In addition to giving Nawaz Sharif an update on the state of the nation’s economy and the status of the current negotiations, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that things have improved and are heading in the right direction.

Earlier, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, a senior PML-N leader, stated that open conversation and backdoor discussions cannot coexist.

Speaking on X, previously Twitter, the government’s negotiation committee spokesperson claimed to be fully aware of the specifics of the meeting between Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir and PTI’s Barrister Gohar.

According to him, the “backdoor” discussions with the army head have been deemed sufficient by both Aleema Khan and Imran Khan.

He advised the PTI to request that its negotiation team end the conversation if the military leadership is satisfied with their discussions.

According to the PML-N leader, the PTI was making a valiant effort to meet the COAS.
