Senator Faisal Javed advocates for the continuation of discussions by a judicial commission.
Senator Faisal Javed of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has asserted that negotiations can only advance upon the establishment of a judicial committee.
During a media briefing at Peshawar High Court, Faisal Javed underscored the necessity for a judicial panel to examine the occurrences of May 9 and November 26. He remarked that talks would not succeed until these demands were met.
He condemned the recent 14-year prison sentence of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, characterizing it as political retribution.
He emphasized that even Bushra Bibi, a nonpolitical individual, was unjustly condemned. Regarding the Al Qadir Trust case, Javed asserted that it resulted in no detriment to the government and would be dismissed by a higher court.
The Senator reiterated that Imran Khan will reject any agreement and provided assurance that Khan’s release from incarceration would restore confidence and stimulate investments in Pakistan.
The Peshawar High Court has granted protective bail to Faisal Javed.
A panel consisting of Justice Ateeq Shah and Justice Waqar Ahmed reviewed Javed’s petition for information regarding the cases filed against him. Faisal Javed in court, accompanied by his legal counsel.
The Deputy Attorney General sought further time to present reasons, prompting the court to postpone the case for 14 days while granting Javed’s protective bail.
