Attempts to reclaim the Peshawar Engineering University property in Charsadda were unsuccessful.
As instructed by Musaddiq Abbasi, the provincial anti-corruption adviser, the Anti-Corruption Department has filed a formal complaint with the Police Inspector General.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Police Officer (DPO) meddled in the land recovery procedure, which was placed on hold, according to the Anti-Corruption Department. According to reports, the Anti-Corruption team was threatened in Charsadda and the police attempted to impede their work, leaving the operation unfinished.
A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) was also accused of misconduct in the complaint, which further claimed that the DSP forced the crew to halt the incident’s video recording. Strict measures were called for in the letter against anyone impeding the return of government land.
