Aurangzeb Applauds UNDP’s Assistance in Pakistan’s Priority Sectors for Sustainable Development

Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Pakistan’s finance minister, has expressed gratitude for the financial and technical assistance the UNDP is giving to Pakistan’s key areas.

He was speaking with Dr. Samuel Rizk, a resident official of the United Nations Development Programme in Pakistan, who had paid him a visit in Islamabad.

The UNDP’s current projects and partnerships with Pakistan’s public and private sectors were the main topics of discussion.

An overview of UNDP’s many activities in various sectors, such as Social Development, Climate Resiliency, Energy Transition, Digital Transformation, and enhancing public sector efficiency, was given by the UNDP resident representative at the conference.

Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to an ongoing relationship and collaboration to address Pakistan’s pressing development issues, especially those related to social justice, climate change, andsocial development, and public sector efficiency.
