Imran Khan’s motion to move the new Toshakhana case to a different bench is denied by IHC.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has once again denied Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, his request to move the fresh Toshakhana case to a different bench right away.

Khan’s attorney was instructed in a written order by Justice Inam Amin Minhas to offer additional support in the case.

Khan has petitioned for acquittal in the case, as has his wife, Bushra Bibi. The court stressed that the presiding judge must make a decision regarding objections pertaining to bench recusals in accordance with Supreme Court (SC) decisions.

The hearing has been postponed indefinitely as the court looks for additional support on the objection point.

Justice Raja Inam Minhas had previously denied a similar motion and asked the FIA for a report on the acquittal pleas.
