The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that the next 24 hours will be mostly dry and cold throughout much of the country, with extremely frigid temperatures in hilly regions.

However, isolated locations in Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are predicted to experience mild rain and snowfall during the evening and night. Northeast Punjab is likely to get shallow to moderate fog in the morning.

The synoptic condition indicates that continental air is dominant in the majority of the nation. Western regions of the nation are expected to experience a westerly wave on Monday.

In the past 24 hours, the majority of the country has experienced cold, dry weather. On Sunday, the temperature in Leh dropped to -11 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest place in the nation.
