Attock Jail releases PTI leader Azam Khan Swati
After obtaining bail in a case involving a public gathering in Sangjani, Azam Khan Swati, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was released from Attock Jail on Monday.
Two days prior, the Lahore High Court’s Rawalpindi Bench had granted Swati’s bail. Surety bond submissions were followed by his release orders.
The PTI leader left for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after being freed, according to reports.
Swati was previously held at Attock Jail in relation to a different case that was filed at the Taxila police station, which is important to note.
