Sindh’s educational institutions would not be open on Shab-e-Barat.

The government of Sindh declared Shab-e-Barat a vacation in all public and private educational establishments.

The government of Sindh has also issued a statement stating that educational institutions will stay closed on Friday, February 14.

The choice was taken to make things easier for those who worship all night.

Every Muslim observes Shab-e-Barat on the fifteenth night of Shaban.

People fast, give to charities, and perform other acts of worship in observance of Shab-e-Barat.

In order to show their respect and ask for forgiveness, Muslims also go to their loved ones’ graves.
