Rain washed out the Punjab government’s flagship multi-crore biker’s lane.

On Ferozepur Road, the recently built biker’s lane has significantly hampered traffic. Poor quality paint that cost over Rs. 11 crore to apply washed away in the rain.
Several sections of the bikers’ lane have faded away with rainwater, raising concerns over the quality of materials used in the project. Despite the problems, TEPA has not addressed the difficulties brought on by the cyclists’ lane.
There was no backup plan for buses at stops, and there is no adequate drainage system to stop water buildup. Because of this, traffic bottlenecks on Ferozepur Road are now commonplace.
