We’ll work to bring democracy back everywhere: Ayub Omar

On Wednesday, National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub declared that the opposition would battle in the courts, in parliament, and on the streets to restore democracy, the constitution, and the rule of law.

Ayub told the media in Islamabad that the opposition’s two-day Constitution Protection meeting would take place today. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is hosting the meeting, and three locations have been chosen.

Additionally, he noted that in five to eight Balochistani districts, the government’s authority had totally disintegrated.

He brought up a story about a Balochistani minister who had had a weapon stolen from him while traveling, and he issued a challenge to the chief minister to get the weapon back.

Speaking about the dire state of affairs in Balochistan, Ayub said that places like Kohlu, Panjgur, Gwadar, Kech, and four other districts are in appalling shape. If Balochistani Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti thought the situation was under control, he stated,

The opposition leader added that imprisoned former premier Imran Khan would soon take over as prime minister once more and that there was currently no true government, only puppets in charge.
