Federal cabinet expansion is likely.

Four to five ministers, advisers, and special assistants will soon be added to the federal cabinet as part of the coalition government’s decision to enlarge it.

The administration has also made the decision to include coalition parties in the federal cabinet. Members of the Balochistan Awami Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the cabinet.

Sources said that Balochistan Awami Party Khalid Hussain Magsi, Mustafa Kamal from MQM-P. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Hanif Abbasi, Talal Chaudhry, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Aqeel Malik and Saiful Maloook Khokhar from PML-N are expected to join the federal cabinet.

Additionally, former federal ministers Sardar Yusuf and Abdul Rehman Kanju will also be admitted. The prime minister has appointed Dr. Tauqeer Shah as an advisor.

Along with Chaudhry Riaz, Raza Hayat Hiraj, and Romina Khurshid Alam, the government has also chosen to include Sialkot-based female lawmaker Nosheen Iftikhar in the new cabinet.

In the upcoming days, the Aiwan-e-Sadr is anticipated to host the oath-taking ceremony.
