According to Aurangzeb, Pakistan’s economy is still stabilising.

According to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, the national economy is still progressing because economic indicators are trending upward.

the minister said currency was stable while inflation rate continued to drop amid improving foreign exchange reserves. He said that they had collaborated to stabilise the economy.

He stated that plans to boost Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s economy were being considered and that he was travelling to the provinces to hold talks ahead of the fiscal year 2025–2026 budget.

The finance minister announced the relaunch of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), adding that flights to Europe and the UK would soon return.

Aurangzeb added that the government would think about creating a National Crypto Council, which would function as a specialised advisory body made up of important government representatives, regulatory bodies, and industry experts. He also claimed to have met with US President Donald Trump’s advisors on digital assets.

According to him, the digital asset market has over 20 million active users and up to $25 billion in investment. He claimed that because this industry has drawn significant investment, regulation is urgently needed.

Aurangzeb went on to say that the country would improve if the IMF’s requirements were followed.
