Sanaullah is met by PML-N representatives from AJK and GB.

On Thursday, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah met with a team from the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) chapter of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), headed by President Shah Ghulam Qadir, to address regional issues.

Qadir emphasized the region’s affection for previous Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif while highlighting the political difficulties impacting Azad Jammu and Kashmir at the discussion. According to a press release, another important topic of conversation was the impending elections in AJK.

Sanaullah responded by promising that the party leadership would be briefed on the problems facing AJK. Sanaullah emphasized the PML-N’s solid and consistent presence in the area while restating the party’s dedication to helping the people of AJK. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, he also promised to fully support the party’s leaders and members.

During the discussion, the focus on Gilgit-Baltistan’s (GB) government reforms was discussed. According to a news release, Sanaullah emphasized the need of matching development plans with the political ideology of the PML-N, which is committed to good governance in Gilgit-Baltistan.

In order to ensure that the region’s progress benefits all of its residents, he pointed out that the PML-N places a high priority on collective welfare. Sanaullah promised the group that their administrative issues would be resolved and that the PML-N would vigorously run in the next elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. Additionally, he promised that party tickets will be given out on the basis of merit.
