For the appointment of LHC judges, a JCP meeting was called.

To discuss the appointment of more judges to the Lahore High Court (LHC), the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) will meet tomorrow.

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi will preside over the gathering.

The names of eight session judges who are being considered for elevation to the LHC will be reviewed by the commission during the session.

Raja Ghazanfar Ali, Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, Akmal Khan, and Qaiser Nazir Butt are among the nominees.

For the appointments, the panel will also take into account Akbar Gul Khan, Shahida Saeed, Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, and Jazila Aslam.
