Bilawal flies to Islamabad for a selection board meeting.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has arrived Islamabad for a Wednesday (today) High-Powered Selection Board meeting.

Chairing the meeting will be Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. As board member, PPP pillar Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will be present.

Reviewing elevation of grade 21 officials to grade 22 will be done by the PM and board members.

Senator Sherry Rehman met Bilawal and Aseefa Bhutto in Karachi before setting out for capital.

They covered the political climate of the nation and Senate laws in the meeting.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari have been named members of the High-Powered Selection Board in January.

Usually comprising the prime minister, cabinet secretary, secretary establishment, province secretary, and secretary of the pertinent ministry, this represents the first time political leaders have been assigned to the Board.

The choosing board decides on promotions and appointments for officers in grades 21 and 22.
