Naqvi compliments security agents for stopping Bannu attack.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended the security forces for effectively foiling a terrorists attack by Khawarij militants in Bannu Cantt.

In a statement, he praised their quick and forceful response for having six terrorists eliminated.

Naqvi underlined that the country is quite proud of the bravery and professionalism of its security personnel. “Their quick reaction not only saved lives but also destroyed the attackers’ sinister goals,” he said.

Declaring great grief over the death toll in the incident, the interior minister sent sincere sympathies to the families of the martyrs.

He gave them his word that the government will always help them during trying circumstances. Naqvi also prayed for everyone hurt in the event to heal quickly.

“We stand with the families of the martyrs in this hour of grief,” he said, stressing once more the government’s will to eradicate terrorism and guarantee national security.
