Women judges are essential to the administration of justice: CJP Yahya Afridi

Yahya Afridi, the chief justice of Pakistan, has praised the efforts made by female judges to uphold the rule of law and highlighted their expanding position in the court.

The growing number of women in Pakistan’s judiciary is a good thing, according to CJP Afridi’s statement on International Women Judges Day. He emphasized that acknowledging the efforts of female judges is a shared duty.

He went on to emphasize that women’s presence in the judiciary and gender equality represent important advancements. He declared, “Women judges play a commendable role in delivering justice, ensuring transparency, and strengthening the judicial system,” and promised to create a more favorable atmosphere for female judges and attorneys.

Noting that the tenacity and moral character of female justices provide a beacon for future generations, the Chief Justice reiterated the dedication to ensuring that justice is available to everyone.
