Rain is predicted by PMD in several regions of the nation.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain in some areas of the nation and the possibility of snowfall on high mountains throughout the course of the next day.

Rainfall is expected across upper and central Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, northeast Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to a meteorological system that is entering the country.

While other parts of the country will have partly overcast and dry conditions, southern Punjab and upper Sindh may also get light showers and thunderstorms throughout the evening or night.

Cloudy conditions with a 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in Islamabad, the federal capital.

In parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, and Waziristan, rain and thunderstorms are predicted, along with snowfall over high mountains.

Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, and the adjacent districts are likely to have sporadic rains in Punjab. The weather in Murree and Galliyat will be overcast and rainy. There may be gusty gusts and light rain in southern Punjab, which includes Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Multan.

In most districts of Sindh, the weather will be dry. However, throughout the evening or night, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, and Sukkur can have strong winds and a little rain.

While the majority of Balochistan’s districts will be dry, there is a chance of rain in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Loralai, and Kalat. Cloudy weather with rain-thunderstorms and snowfall over hills, with moderate to heavy snowfall in certain places, is forecast for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Most of the country has seen partly overcast and dry weather over the past 24 hours. Nonetheless, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Upper Punjab all saw rain-wind/thunderstorms.
