The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established a welfare fund for judicial officers.

On Tuesday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government resolved to create a welfare fund for judicial personnel in the state.

A committee consisting of the KP Finance Department and the Law Minister granted formal approval for the establishment of the funds.

The statement states that the welfare fund will offer financial support for health-related situations, accidents, natural disasters, and other concerns. The fund is designated as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Officers Welfare Fund Bill 2025.

“To establish the fund, each judicial officer will make monthly monetary contributions,” it stated.

The document disclosed that the proposed bill would address issues such as fund management, while also requiring cabinet permission to establish the fund.
