Prime Minister Shehbaz will depart for Saudi Arabia on an official visit on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will conduct an official visit to Saudi Arabia from March 19 to 22, with the objective of fortifying bilateral relations, augmenting economic collaboration, and fostering investment between the two nations.
The delegation accompanying the prime minister will consist of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, as well as prominent federal ministries and senior officials, according to a news release from the Foreign Office on Tuesday.
The prime minister is set to meet with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman during the visit.
The leaders will discuss and deliberate upon ways to boost trade, enhance partnership in key sectors and facilitate greater economic collaboration.
“Issues of shared interest and concern, encompassing global and regional developments, notably the Gaza situation, shifting Middle East dynamics, and matters pertaining to the Muslim Ummah, will be prioritized on the agenda,” it was stated.
The prime minister’s visit highlights the longstanding historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and will facilitate greater mutual understanding, improved collaboration in commerce and investment, and enhanced diplomatic coordination on bilateral, regional, and global issues.
