Khawaja Asif criticizes PTI for abstaining from the National Security Meeting.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has vehemently condemned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over its refusal to participate in the Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting.

Khawaja Asif, in a message on the social networking platform X (previously Twitter), accused the PTI of prioritizing Imran Khan over national security.

He also denounced PTI’s position, asserting that while Pakistan confronts threats of terrorism, PTI persists in engaging in political maneuvering for personal gain. He characterized this conduct as a treachery against the nation.

PTI notably snubbed the security meeting, insisting on a prior meeting with Imran Khan before participation.
