Prime Minister Shehbaz is scheduled to go for Saudi Arabia today.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will embark on a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia today (Wednesday). The visit, scheduled from 19-22 March, seeks to fortify bilateral relations, augment economic collaboration, and stimulate investment between the two nations.

The delegation will comprise Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, together with prominent Federal Ministers and senior officials.

The Prime Minister is set to meet with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman during the visit. They will confer and debate on strategies to augment trade, strengthen partnerships in critical areas, and promote increased economic engagement.

Matters of mutual interest and concern, including global and regional developments, particularly the Gaza situation, evolving Middle East dynamics, as well as issues related to the Muslim Ummah, will figure high on the agenda.

The Foreign Office stated in a press release that the Prime Minister’s visit highlights the longstanding historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, facilitating greater mutual understanding, improved cooperation in trade and investment, and enhanced diplomatic coordination on bilateral, regional, and global issues.
