The United States, China, and the United Kingdom are the leading three destinations for Pakistani exports over the past eight months.

During the initial eight months of the fiscal year 2024-25, the United States (US) continued to be the primary export destination for Pakistani exports, succeeded by China and the United Kingdom (UK).

Total exports to the US from July to February 2024-25 amounted to US $4009.913 million, compared to US $3629.206 million during the same period in 2023-24, reflecting a rise of 10.49 percent, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Subsequently, Pakistan’s exports to China amounted to US $1,695.941 million, a decline of 10.54 percent compared to US $1,895.959 million in the previous year.

The UK ranked as the third largest export destination, with Pakistan exporting goods valued at US $1,444.334 million during the reviewed month, compared to US $1,352.556 million in previous exports, according to SBP statistics.

Pakistani exports to the UAE amounted to US $1414.727 million, compared to US $1336.968 million the previous year, while exports to Germany reached US $1133.608 million, up from US $984.616 million last year, according to the statistics.

From July to February 2024-25, exports to Holland amounted to $1,001.639 million, compared to $908.325 million, while exports to Italy reached $747.024 million, up from $733.640 million.

Pakistan’s exports to Spain amounted to $973.578 million, compared to $965.113 million previously, while exports to Afghanistan reached $592.840 million, up from $321.754 million last year.

Exports to Bangladesh amounted to US $525.133 million, compared to US $415.167 million.

In the months under review, exports to France amounted to US $372.539 million, compared to US $337.523 million, while exports to Belgium reached US $384.045 million, up from US $364.665 million.

Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia amounted to US $489.443 million this year, an increase from US $442.544 million last year, while exports to Turkiye were US $194.372 million, a decrease from US $233.069 million.
