Balochistan will continue to ban cellular services on Rabi-ul-Awwal 12.

As part of the security measures implemented by the provincial government to uphold peace and order on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), cell phone services will be banned throughout Balochistan on September 6, or 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Through the Federal Ministry of Interior, the Balochistan Home Department has written to the PTA asking that 3G and 4G services be suspended throughout the province from 5:00 p.m. on September 5 until 9:00 p.m. on September 6.

In Noshki, Khuzdar, Mastung, Sibi, and Quetta, the PTCL and NTC wireless internet services would also continue to be unavailable. Security concerns have led to the decision to discontinue the services.
