A bus-van collision in Sheikhupura claimed five lives.

Rescue officials say that the passenger van was being driven from Kohat to Lahore when it was struck by a speeding bus close to the Kot Abdul Malik Motorway interchange.

Additionally, it is stated that ten people had critical injuries and five people died as a result of the crash.

Once the rescue teams had the information, they arrived at the scene and transported the injured and dead to the hospital.

Five people died instantly after the driver of the speeding bus lost control of the vehicle and crashed it into a passenger van, according to rescue officials.

The deceased and injured people’s identities were still unknown.

A passenger bus and trailer truck collided on the Sukkur-Multan freeway earlier in August, leaving at least eight persons dead and ten more injured.

According to a Motorway Police source, the unfortunate was traveling from Mansehra to Karachi.

Rescue workers responded quickly to the scene, moving the injured and dead to Tehsil Hospital Ghotki for legal and medical procedures.
