A grenade attack on a Peshawar police checkpoint injured two officers.
In Wednesday’s grenade strike on a checkpoint under the jurisdiction of Mithra Police Station in Peshawar, at least two police officers were injured.
Two officials were hurt when some criminals on a motorcycle launched a hand grenade at the checkpoint. When the incident occurred, a large police presence arrived on the scene and took the injured to the hospital.
Additionally, an explosion damaged a portion of the checkpoint. To find and apprehend the attackers, who were able to flee, authorities quickly began a massive search and rescue effort in the surrounding areas.
