Dania Zaheer is undergoing treated at Memorial Hermann Hospital after it was verified that she suffered multiple fractured bones in the horrifying hit-and-run incident.
Dania Zaheer, an MBA candidate from Karachi who moved here to improve her family’s standard of life, expressed sorrow, saying the accident crushed her hopes.

The hospital, consulate, and her family have all been notified that renowned Pakistani-American businessman Syed Javed Anwar has assumed full responsibility for her medical bills.
Consul General Aftab Chaudhry of Pakistan said he saw the student in the hospital and promised to help her recover fully.
Concurrently, Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan, has also conveyed his condolences for the situation and instructed the officials to offer Dania Zaheer complete support.
