A man was arrested for using the name “D Company” to blackmail doctors.

Reportedly, the suspect, Muzfar Ahmed Sindhu, who was connected to the pharmaceutical industry, possessed comprehensive information about physicians and utilized it to extort them. He would use a woman’s mobile number to make threatening calls to doctors, requesting extortion money.

Numerous prominent physicians lodged grievances against him, leading to the registration of cases at several police stations, including Qasimabad, Cantt, and Hatri. Threats of death and extortion are among the accusations.

Police are still looking into the situation, and more information should surface soon.

The famed criminal syndicate “D Company” is run by the notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim. With its initial headquarters in Mumbai, India, the group engages in a variety of illicit operations, such as money laundering, extortion, drug trafficking, and arms smuggling.

The group’s ties to terrorist organizations and participation in other illicit actions brought them international notoriety. Even after being classified as a terrorist organization, D Company still operates from unidentified places.

Comparably, on December 15, a known dacoit demanded extortion from a Chinese enterprise working on the Indus Highway in Kashmore-Kandhkot.

After obtaining the “extortion contract,” the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation reportedly notified the Sindh government of the problem.

The letter disclosed that Bandit Budhal called the Chinese company’s project manager and made demands for a motorcycle, two cell phones, and Rs 5 million.

According to the letter, the bandit further threatened to hurt the workers if the demands were not fulfilled.
