A road accident in Malir claimed the life of a Karachi Red Bus driver.

According to the information, the event occurred near Khokhrapar No. 2 in Malir while Red Bus driver Abdul Razzaq was on his way to work.

Family relatives claim that Abdul Razzaq worked as a Red Bus driver. He had boarded a local bus to reach his duty station and was crossing the road after getting off when another Red Bus fatally struck him.

Rescue teams shifted the body to the hospital for legal formalities. With this incident, the number of fatalities in road accidents this year has risen to 134, officials confirmed.

Two industrialists were killed Monday in Karachi when a speeding trailer struck their car, causing it to fall off the ICI Bridge.

A rickshaw driver was also hurt in the incident, and the victims were named as 62-year-old Ashraf and his son Naveed.

The careless trailer struck the victims’ automobile as they were traveling to the SITE industrial area.

Rescue sources reported that an uncontrolled speeding trailer collided with the car from behind on ICI Bridge, causing the vehicle to break through the bridge’s railing and fall onto the iron pipes below.
