A show-cause notice was given by the principal for raising CM Maryam’s flag on the Gujrat college building.

A show-cause notice has been issued to the principal of a government college in Gujrat for displaying a banner featuring the image of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on the campus premises.

The flag, positioned atop the Government Graduate College Kharian edifice, gained viral attention on the internet following the emergence of films online.

The show-cause letter from Director Colleges Shoaib Ashiq Butt states that the flag displaying the Chief Minister’s image was erected without the requisite authorization from the appropriate authority.

The notification indicated that this action constitutes negligence and mismanagement. Subsequent to the issuance of the warning, the flag was swiftly removed from the college edifice.
