A Significant Advance in the Government’s Economic Reforms: Shehbaz Sharif

A crucial meeting pertaining to Federal Board of Revenue matters was chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

FBR is an essential organization supporting the nation’s economy, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz. He declared, “A key turning point in the government’s economic reforms is the digitization of the FBR.”

According to him, increased money will boost the social sector and enable better service delivery to the public.

The prime minister gave the order to summon honest taxpayers, speak with them about the FBR transformation plan, and solicit their feedback.

One of the government’s top priorities, he stated, is promoting the private sector. A third-party audit of all FBR projects was also encouraged by him.

FBR representatives told the prime minister that the FBR plan has a thorough plan for utilizing information technology efficiently, incentive of officers and staff to improve tax collection and improve enforcement of tax laws.
