A ward lift at Mayo Hospital falls, injuring twelve people.

At least 12 persons, including three nurses, suffered injuries when Mayo Hospital’s Orthopaedic Ward lift malfunctioned and fell on Thursday,

The administrators of Mayo Hospital acknowledged that the elevator fell due to a technical issue. Additionally, they disclosed that three of the patients had fractured bones.

The injured individuals were moved to the hospital’s emergency room.

In the meantime, the medical superintendent has mandated an urgent investigation to determine the reason for the lift’s collapse.
