The death of 22-year-old Fatima Bibi, who was married to Azmat, a villager, only two days prior, has reportedly prompted contradictory explanations from the police.

According to the first police complaint, Fatima was filming a TikTok video when she unintentionally fired the revolver. But according to some reports, the deadly bullet might have originated in an unknown direction.

In addition to gathering evidence from the crime site, the police have taken the deceased to the hospital. According to the Saddar police station’s SHO, a comprehensive investigation is necessary before the actual situation can be disclosed.

Similar circumstances occurred in May 2024 when a teenage student who was working at a contact center in Liaquatabad, Karachi, was shot and unintentionally died while making a TikTok video.

Abdullah Mehmood, 16, was recognized as the victim by the supermarket police.

Mehmood and his friend were shooting a TikTok video when the pistol went off, according to the police, killing young people on the platform.

His body was brought to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities after the police stated that the event happened on Friday night.

The phone center was sealed by authorities after the event.

There have been other instances where someone has died while making short videos. While creating a video on TikTok earlier in 2020, a 13-year-old boy in Karachi died.
