Abductee recovered from Karachi by AVCC and CPLC
Details indicate that on October 5, Nasir Hussain was kidnapped from the Central district of Karachi’s Sector 5-D Bilal Colony. The abductors sought a ransom of one million rupees from the family of Nasir Hussain in order to secure his safe return.
The family reported the event to the Bilal Colony Police Station, where a case was registered.
The AVCC was soon tasked with overseeing the probe. A dedicated squad was established to find the offenders. The squad located the kidnappers after conducting technical analysis and intensive observation.
The kidnappers were able to flee, however the victim of their kidnapping has been found safely.
Eight persons were earlier abducted by bandits in the Katcha area, who tricked them with a marriage proposal, authorities said on Wednesday.
Four women are among those who have been abducted, according to the local police.
Police claim that the bandits tricked the victims into accepting their marriage proposal by sending them to the katcha area.
When they arrived in the katcha section of Napur Kot, the criminals abducted them. “They were invited to the katcha area to see a girl who was getting married.”
The Micro Colony neighborhood of Sukkur is home to the hostages, according to the police.
