Adil Bazai’s disqualification case is postponed by ECP until November 12.

The disqualification reference hearing against Adil Bazai, a member of the National Assembly from NA-262 Quetta, has been postponed to November 12 by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Bazai’s disqualification petition was filed under Article 63-A by PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, who cited his refusal to vote in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment and the budget.

Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja presided over an ECP bench that heard the matter.

Bazai was accused by Nawaz Sharif’s attorney of violating the constitution by refusing to vote in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment and money bill. According to the lawyer, Bazai joined the PML-N after first winning the election as an independent.
