Adil Raja is ordered by the London High Court to pay Rs130 million in defamation damages.

In a defamation case against YouTuber Adil Raja, the London High Court found in favor of Brigadier (r) Rashid Naseer, directing the latter to pay more than Rs130 million (£350,000) in damages and legal fees.
In the ruling, Justice Richard Spearman concluded that Adil Raja had harmed Brigadier (r) Rashid Naseer’s reputation by bringing untrue accusations. Raja was sentenced by the judge to pay £300,000 for legal fees and £50,000 in damages.
According to the court, Raja was unable to provide evidence to support his charges against the retired army officer. Judge Spearman declared the remarks to be false and defamatory, acknowledging that Rashid Naseer’s reputation had suffered greatly as a result of the media articles that were published.
Adil Raja has been ordered to publicly declare on all of his media channels that Brigadier (r) Rashid Naseer has won the lawsuit as part of the verdict. According to the injunction, the YouTuber must make the announcement widely visible on all of his digital and social media platforms.
After deeming nine Adil Raja media items to be defamatory, Brigadier (r) Rashid Naseer filed an appeal with the London High Court. The case, which involved a retired military commander from Pakistan and a social media commentator from the UK who fled the country, attracted a lot of attention because of its cross-border ramifications.
