After winter break, the Supreme Court adjourns the hearing on Imran Khan’s suit alleging election tampering.

The constitutional bench of the Supreme Court, presided over by Justice Ameen-ud-Din, has delayed the hearing of a plea filed by former prime minister Imran Khan contesting alleged election tampering in the general elections held on February 8 until after the winter break.

Hamid Khan, Imran Khan’s attorney, asked the court to postpone the hearing due to his inability to prepare for the case because he had not gotten the notification in a timely manner.

He requested that the matter be rescheduled for after the winter vacation.

Justice Jamal Mandokhel responded by informing Hamid Khan that the notification had been sent and advising him to keep in contact with his associate officer of record.
