Aleema and Uzma Khan are granted temporary bail by the ATC in the October 5 police assault and arson case.

Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan, were granted temporary bail by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Friday in connection with the October 5 police assault and arson case.

ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gill presided over the hearing on the bail requests submitted by the sisters of the PTI founder.

The defense filed a request during the proceedings to grant Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan a one-day exemption from making a personal appearance.

According to the plea, both sisters traveled to Islamabad to meet with the founder of the PTI and attend hearings on his cases.

Due to the failure to submit the case record, the court subsequently postponed the hearing to October 17, granted them temporary bail until that date, and granted their plea to be excused from attendance.
