Alvi says he’s prepared for Article 6 and defends his presidential term.

Dr. Arif Alvi, the former president, claims he did not do anything against the constitution while in office.

He declared, “I am prepared to handle the situation if a case is filed under Article 6 against me.”

After stepping down as president of Islamabad, he said these things at a news conference in Karachi.

Speaking about some of the meetings he presided over, he stated he made an effort to make each one better but was not particularly successful.

“My goal has been to bring the nation together,” declared the former leader.

Regarding achieving national peace, he stated that all citizens have to recognize and honor the mandate granted to the victorious political party in the elections.
