Armed Forces completely equipped to protect the sovereignty of the cherished homeland: COAS

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release that Army Staff Chief General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), visited soldiers taking part in a field training exercise near Narowal and Sialkot on Tuesday.

In order to improve the professional abilities and combat procedures necessary for handling new operational problems, COAS received a thorough briefing on the goals and conduct of the exercise. Air defense, army aviation, armor, infantry, mechanized infantry, artillery, and anti-tank guided missile units were among the groups that carried out coordinated fire and mobility operations throughout the exercise.

In a contemporary military setting, the exercise also showed how to effectively use information operations and electronic warfare capabilities to thwart enemy communications and counter misinformation tactics.

COAS accompanied the troops in the field for the day and praised their strong morale, operational preparedness, and training standards. He stressed the vital need of remaining constantly ready to combat any threats that opponents may offer throughout his conversation with the attendees.

The COAS declared, “With the nation’s unwavering support, the Pakistan Armed Forces are fully capable of safeguarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our beloved motherland against the entire spectrum of threats.” Earlier, the Inspector and Commander Gujranwala Corps greeted COAS when he arrived at the training field.
