As 62 people are killed by floods, PM Shehbaz shows solidarity with Spain.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed his sincere condolences and solidarity with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and the Spanish people for the deaths caused by floods and heavy rains.
“I express the people and government of Pakistan’s sincere condolences and solidarity with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and the people of Spain in the wake of the devastating floods and fatalities. “We send our prayers and thoughts to everyone impacted,” the prime minister wrote on X.
According to PM Shehbaz, Pakistan is standing with Spain’s friendly citizens during this difficult moment.
Foreign media reports that the deadly flash floods that struck southern and eastern Spain has killed at least 62 people.
On Tuesday, a significant portion of the nation, including Valencia and Malaga, experienced flooding as a result of the heavy rainfall.
In August 2024, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pledged to help Bangladesh deal with the terrible floods.
The Pakistani nation stood with those who lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods in the floods, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif wrote in a letter to Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh, expressing Pakistan’s solidarity with Bangladesh during this difficult time, according to a press release from the PM’s Office.
