As India discharges water into the Indus River, Rajanpur experiences flooding.

Several communities, including Kacha Mianwali, Kacha Mandri, Miran Pur, Kacha Chohan, and Dera Dildar, have reportedly been submerged by the flooding.

Flood victims are in despair as a result of the destruction of thousands of acres of cotton, moong, and other crops. Rescue efforts are in progress to relocate residents to safer areas while houses and schools in the flood-affected districts are swamped.

Officials say the district administration and Punjab Police have ordered residents to leave the flood-prone regions right away. To help displaced families, tent towns and relief camps have also been established.

As the situation worsens, several victims are relocating to higher ground via private boats.
