Asad Qaiser’s temporary bail in the vandalism case is extended by ATC

Asad Qaiser, the former speaker of the national legislature, was granted temporary release by the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in the vandalism case of Chungi 26.

ATC Islamabad Asad Qaiser’s pre-arrest bail request was considered by Judge Abual Hasanat Zulqarnain. Ayesha Khalid, his defense attorney, represented Qaiser even though he did not show up for court.

Ayesha Khalid asked for and the court granted Asad Qaiser’s exemption from making a physical appearance during the hearing. He was then granted temporary bail until February 14 by the court.

A case against Asad Qaiser was filed at the Sangjani Police Station, which is notable.
