Asif Ali Zardari will run for president, according to PPP
On Tuesday, the Pakistani Peoples Party (PPP) made the decision to put Asif Ali Zardari up for the presidency.
Information revealed by sources The party announced that it has struck an agreement with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) during the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting. The PPP sought to appoint governors of provinces as well as the head of the Senate.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari broke down in tears during the CEC meeting when discussing the attacks on PPP candidates and staff.
“Our workers were tortured, and the PPP’s mandate had been snatched,” Bhutto-Zardari declared.
