At Guddu Barrage, the Indus River flows in a low-level flood.

The water level in the Indus River near the Guddu Barrage is predicted to continue rising, resulting in a low-level flood situation.

The water level at Guddu Barrage was steadily rising as the floodwaters moved from Head Panjnad toward Sindh. There has been a recorded water inflow of 348,000 cusecs at Guddu Barrage and 331,155 cusecs at Sukkur Barrage.

The Indus River’s water level is still rising close to Obaro, burying a number of settlements in the Katcha (riverine) regions. The floods has also ruined cotton and sugarcane plantations.
