Bakhtawar Bhutto honors her grandfather Zulfiqar Bhutto by naming her newborn son after him.

On Tuesday morning, Bakhtawar Bhutto and her spouse, Mahmood Chaudhry, published a joint post on Instagram revealing the name of their newborn baby.

The couple announced the name of their son as “Mir Zulfiqar Mahmood Chaudhry,” in tribute to Bakhtawar’s maternal grandfather, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” 𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘦. O Allah, grant him the qualities of compassion and love. “Guide him on the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and disseminate his illumination of wisdom and benevolence in this world,” Bakhtwar stated in her Instagram post.

Bakhtawar wed businessman Mahmood Choudhry on January 29, 2021.

The couple declared the arrival of their first child on October 10, 2021, and their second son on October 6, 2022.
