Bangladesh and Pakistan resolve to improve interfaith harmony.

A joint working group between Bangladesh and Pakistan has been established with the aim of fostering interfaith harmony between the two nations.
This occurred at a Friday meeting in Islamabad between a group from Bangladesh headed by Adviser on Religious Affairs A.F.M. Khalid Hussain and Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf.
Speaking at the event, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf suggested that Bangladesh and Madaris exchange ulema and student visits.
He claimed that centuries of common customs, Islamic history, social norms, and literary expression form the foundation of the two nations’ relationship.
According to the minister, the area will benefit from better bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
During his speech, Khalid Hussain stated that efforts would be made to encourage collaboration between the two nations’ Ministries of Religious Affairs.
The delegation from Bangladesh conveyed their profound sadness over the deaths and destruction caused by the floods in Pakistan.
