Banks will be open on weekends to accept applications for the Hajj in 2025.

In order to make it easier for prospective pilgrims to submit applications for the 2025 Hajj, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has instructed 15 designated banks to remain open on Saturday and Sunday across the nation.
On December 3, 2024, prospective pilgrims must submit their Hajj applications and payment for Hajj 2025.
In response to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony’s request, the central bank issued the guidelines, according to a statement released today, to make it easier for prospective pilgrims to deposit their Hajj applications and payment for the 2025 pilgrimage.
The approved banks have been instructed by the SBP “to maintain their relevant branches open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on November 30, 2024 and December 1, 2024 .
A significant reduction in airfare for pilgrims undertaking the Hajj in 2025 was announced by the Pakistani government on November 23.
According to information, after a relief package that lowers airfares by $50 per person was recently announced, pilgrims participating in the federal government’s program would receive financial relief of Rs 1.24 billion.
Due to this modification, the cost of tickets decreased by Rs. 14,000 from the previous year, bringing the airfare for Hajj 2025 down to Rs. 220,000 from Rs. 234,000 per person.
For pilgrims, this is the second year in a row that the cost of Hajj flights has been reduced.
Saudi Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), and other private airlines have approved this package.
